How we write

Every guide is written from scratch for this site. We check facts against reference works and observatory sources, and list our sources at the end of each page. Calculated values such as rise and set times are approximate and marked as estimates.

Images

Images come from open sources such as Wikimedia Commons and public-domain space agency archives. The author and license are shown under each image.

Independence

We do not sell telescopes or take payment for reviews. If we ever publish paid content, it will be clearly labelled as sponsored.
